Missions Efforts Supported by Goldthwaite Church of Christ

Gladwyn Kiddoe, Director

The Jamaica School of Preaching & Biblical Studies is a tuition free, non-profit, Bible-based educational institution sponsored by, and affiliated with the Church of Christ. The aim of the school is to prepare not only preachers, but all Christians, for more effective and fruitful service in the Lord’s church.

The mission of Cherokee Home for Children is to engage children in education, community, and church-related activities to positively influence their lives. The Cherokee Home provides safe and nurturing Christian homes during times of family crisis.

Eastern European Mission’s (E.E.M.) desire is to share God’s Word with the people of Eastern Europe while seeking to educate and inspire God’s servants everywhere to partner with them in this ministry. The goal of E.E.M. is to print and distribute free Bibles and Bible-based materials to all the souls of Eastern Europe.

Trinidad, Colorado

Clay Mason, minister of the Gospel, has devoted his life of ministry to the “chronically homeless” of the Trinidad, Colorado area. His goal is to help homeless people to assimilate back into society, all while teaching them the Good News of Christ.

Kingwood Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN is the overseeing church of the Brazil Church Planting Ministry and the Charley Huffman Institute of Evangelism. After many years of working in partnership with the Ovilla Church of Christ, Kingwood took over the role on March 1, 2024. Paul Dawson is the Ambassador and operates from his home in Texas, while Giovanni Vantuil is the Director of the Institute that operates out of Betim, Brazil. The Institute currently has active on-site students, online students, and part-time night students working on different levels of curriculum.

The ministry also works in Bello Horizonte, Brazil, through the efforts of Ricardo Maia as he frequents the churches of Esmerelda and Palmeiras, and in Uberlandia, Brazil, where we support full-time ministers Celio Santos and Delmiro Neto as they work with the church there and in smaller towns of Morrinhos, Monte Alegre, and Caldas Novas.
